How it is used
MIC+B12 is prescribed for administration at home, as directed by the prescribing provider. Each shipment includes syringes and alcohol pads. Directions for use, including administration instructions, come from the prescribing provider. Questions about administration go to the care team through the patient portal.
The process
How to obtain MIC+B12
Step 1 of 3: Online intake and provider review
The process starts with an online medical intake. A licensed provider reviews the health history submitted and, if appropriate, issues a prescription. Review is asynchronous by default. Some states require a synchronous visit, and a video visit may also be required if clinically indicated.
Step 2 of 3: Compounded and shipped
The prescription is prepared by a licensed US compounding pharmacy for the individual patient and shipped discreetly in temperature-controlled packaging, with directions for use from the prescribing provider.
Step 3 of 3: Ongoing provider messaging
After delivery, patients can message the care team and a licensed provider through the patient portal. Continued refills require periodic provider reassessment.
Subscription & cancellation
MIC+B12 is offered as an automatically renewing plan, monthly (10 mL) or quarterly (30 mL). The price and billing interval are disclosed at checkout before any charge. First-month pricing, where shown, applies to the first order only; renewals are billed at the standard rate.
Plans can be canceled at any time online through the account dashboard, or by emailing care@vivoclinic.org. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period if it is received before that period's order is transmitted to the pharmacy. Orders already transmitted to or being compounded by the pharmacy cannot be canceled or refunded.
Continued refills depend on clinical eligibility. If a provider determines that continued use is no longer appropriate, or a required reassessment is not completed, the plan is paused or ended, and no charge applies for any cycle not shipped.

Frequently asked questions
Is a prescription required?
Yes. MIC+B12 is available by prescription only. Every order starts with an online medical intake and review by a licensed provider, who determines whether a prescription is clinically appropriate. Patients must be 18 or older and physically located in a state where services are available, both at intake and at each refill. Services are currently available in all 50 US states, subject to state regulation.
What happens if a provider does not prescribe?
A card may be authorized at checkout and is charged only after a provider approves a prescription. If a licensed provider determines the medication is not clinically appropriate, no prescription is issued, no medication ships, and no charge is completed for that medication order.
Is a video visit required?
Provider review is asynchronous by default, based on the written intake. Some states require a synchronous visit (live video or phone) before a provider can prescribe, and a provider may also request one if clinically indicated.
Who prescribes, and who prepares the medication?
Prescriptions are issued by licensed providers. Medical leadership includes Dr. Sean Arora, M.D., and Dr. Shannon Arora, M.D. Prescriptions are prepared and shipped by a licensed US 503A compounding pharmacy. Vivo Health LLC operates the platform and does not practice medicine or dispense medication.
